Can I use your survey data to contest the local Lands Department?
It's good to have as much information as possible but leave it to your lawyer to settle any disputes.

Are your surveys recognized in a court of law in Thailand?
A genuine Land Department survey is the only document that any court will take seriously, although you do have every right to reject any survey as inaccurate.

What are the benefits in getting my land surveyed?
To provide you with an impartial and highly accurate 3D model and area check of the land you either own, or are considering owning.

Who do you support in the case of a border dispute?
We are unbiased and impartial, we just measure what we are shown, do the drawings and go home.

How much does it cost for a survey?
This depends upon how much land you wish us to survey. We work on a meter squared surface area rate, the greater the area, the lower the price per m squared. Note, we do not calculate our costs on a horizontally reduced area (such as those shown in Land Titles).

What are your views on ongoing development on Koh Phangan?
Development is inevitable. We firmly believe it is far better to be involved and have some influence over the process than simply wash your hands of any changes and turn your backs on the subject. Our policy is simply, we will not be party to any project which we deem as harmful to the environment, damaging to the aesthetics and natural beauty of the island or illegal.

How long does it take to get a quote for a job?

About 5 minutes.

How long does it take to get the job done and delivered?
Depending upon the size of the job, usually between 1 and five days.

Why must I pay a deposit up front?
So we don't lose too much money in the event that you have to ‘urgently' leave the country before the job is handed over.

How do I know you will do the work once I have paid a deposit?

Our reputation speaks for itself and we are happy to provide many genuine references.

What about the future for Koh Phangan?

More development, possibly an airport and certainly a major reservoir. Hopefully we have learnt a lot from our big sister, Koh Samui.

Can you organize land to be cleared etc?
No, although we can give advice on appropriate and responsible practices.

What do you need from me before you can begin surveying?
In the case of a perimeter survey, clear defined borders, horizontal visibility between known border point. In the case of a topographical survey, at least 25 meters horizontal clear visibility, walkable, safe land with the sky visible form the ground. And a 50% deposit.

What other services to you offer?
Geotechnical services, plot and road design, site set out..Business is business, we're always open to suggestions.

Do you offer ongoing support for completed jobs?
Within reason. usually once the drawing is completed, our surveyor will sit with the client and go through the drawing in detail. Any specific changes that are requested will normally be accommodated. Between 2 or 3 revisions to the drawing are acceptable before an additional fee is charged. For us to re-visit a site and capture additional survey points outside of the original specification we will charge an additional fee, unless the fault is one of our own, in which case we don't charge.

What if the marker posts you put in for us get knocked out of the ground for any reason?
Sorry, but unless the marker posts were knocked out by one of our team, we have to charge for the site set out again.
